First Dominicans repatriated from U.S.
Jan 28, 2025 · Santo Domingo.- The U.S. government initiated a new mass repatriation of undocumented Dominicans on Monday, deporting 86 individuals through Las Américas International Airport under tight security measures led by ICE. The deportees, who entered the U.S. illegally—primarily via the Mexico-U.S. border—were returned on a flight from Louisiana that landed at 11:19 a.m.
