I'm a volunteer docent at the museum. Our customer flight experiences are currently available in 7 different airplanes at a variety of prices. The majority of flights are on the weekends as most of our pilots and customers have jobs during the week. Generally, flight operations commence in April and end in early November each year. Our Boeing B-17 bomber is currently only 1 of 10 flying in the world and our Douglas SBD Dauntless dive bomber is 1 of less than 5 flying in the world. There are minimum age, agility and maximum weight requirements.

I am a volunteer docent at the museum. Our Aviation Learning Center (ALC) is currently one of only two in the USA. It operates weekdays for scheduled groups of students from 5th through 12th grades. On weekends, the simulator portion of the ALC is available to the public at specified hours as our Pilot Experience at an additional charge to the museum admission and with minimum age requirements. The full ALC experience takes about 3 hours for students to complete. Separate from the ALC is the museum's Flight Academy (FA) which is part of the general admission charge. The FA contains a number of hands on, interactive exhibits demonstrating the principles of flight and also includes 2 hang glider simulators. The simulators are great fun for all ages.
